A clear photo of each pet
This is the honest part. A two-pet portrait is only as good as the weaker of the two photos. One sharp photo and one blurry one gives you one sharp pet and one guess. So we need a clear face of each.
- Daylight, near a window, no flash.
- At the pet's eye level, not from above.
- Both eyes visible and in focus.
- Roughly similar angles help the two faces sit together naturally.
- A group photo where one pet is tiny in the background.
- A dark photo of a dark pet.
- A photo cropped from far away and zoomed in.

Which size for two pets?
Good for two cats, two small dogs, or a cat and a small dog. Each face gets enough room to be recognizable.
Our largest size. Best for two big dogs, a large dog with a cat, or anyone who wants the faces as big as possible.

Two dogs on one rug

Questions
Do the pets need to be in the same photo?
No. Separate photos are fine, and usually better, because each pet can be photographed when they are calm. We put them together in the design.
Can I add both names?
Yes. Write both names when you order, and mention how you want them in the special request note. You will see the result in your free preview.
Can you put three pets on one rug?
Ask us before ordering at hello@fluffsome.com with the photos. We will tell you honestly whether the faces will still be recognizable on a round rug.
Can one of the pets be a pet who has died?
Yes. A rug can bring together a current pet and one you have lost. An older photo can still work, and the preview shows you the result first. Read more about a memorial pet rug.
What if one pet looks wrong in the preview?
Tell us what is off and we revise it. Revisions are free and unlimited, and production starts only after you approve.
